Fresh off the delivery vessel in time for last May’s Sydney International Boat Show, she’s enjoyed a privileged year of polish and pamper at the private dock of the Jaxon Marine owner’s Botany Bay home.
The Dickey Semifly 32, is arguably the company’s most successful model to date. A mid-sized sport-fisher/family cruiser, the 32 sits comfortably in a versatility and handling sweet-spot – easily managed by crews of almost any experience without compromising important liveaboard functionality to any noticeable degree. Many have described the Semifly 32 as a high performance yet fuel efficient, everyday boater’s dream.
Every Dickey Boat is customised, but Obsession is, by the owner’s request, commissioned as close to alignment with the Dickey family’s personal specifications as was possible at the time.

Obsession’s 30-knot plus top end speed is propelled by a Volvo D6-370 stern-drive installation, delivering a miserly 60 litres per hour at 28 knots. The Dickey Semifly 32 rates as one of the most fuel efficient and soft riding blue-water capable vessels in the market.
